Treaty #6 Territory Flag represents the treaty made between 50 Nations and the Crown, including Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota and Dene Peoples. Over 2000 first nations people came to witness the original signing at Fort Carlton in 1876. The treaty was also signed at Fort Pitt a few months later. Additional signings occurred in 1877-1882, 1889, 1950-1956. Adhesions were signed in 1877, 1944, 1950.
